Africa's Thirst

African children endure extreme living conditions -- but together we can bestow on them the life-changing gift of EDUCATION -- which can be the answer to nearly every development issue an impoverished community faces: health, education, financial security, peace, human rights & gender equality.

Help Liberia's Children
Attain Freedom & Dignity

The Royal Christian Institute is a collaborative effort based in Indianapolis, IN (USA) & Barnesville, Monrovia (Liberia). Liberia is the only country in Africa founded by United States colonization (1820) while occupied by native Africans.

WE NEED YOUR HELP!

We are committed to providing children of Liberia
with basic social services lacking in the community -- and free education for orphaned, vulnerable and the less fortunate -- especially female children.

Mission in Indy

We seek to address school dropout rates, hunger and families struggling to stay together in the Forest Manor neighborhood of Indianapolis. In this area about 35% of the families live in poverty. We hope to eliminate conditions that contribute to maladjustments in school.

Mission in Indy

Mission in Liberia

84% of the population in Liberia lives below the international poverty line of $1.25 a day, and only 56% of the adult population is literate. Members of the Trye community have requested, and they have shown great willingness and efforts to having a school in their community.

ANOTHER ONE SAD STORY

as their world turns

from war

After enduring two civil wars in the past 30 years, the people of Liberia are trying to rebuild their lives. Approximately 80 percent of the population lives in poverty, and disease is rampant.

TO ANOTHER SAD STORY

as their world turns

to poverty

Liberia was ravaged by two civil wars, the first raging from 1989 until 1996 and the second taking place from 1999 to 2003. During these bloody conflicts, more than 200,000 people lost their lives, and the country is still struggling to recover.

..TO YET ANOTHER SAD STORY

EXTREME…

..Suffering

Children were once forced to fight in these wars, but today, The Royal Christian Institute is offering them the chance to lead fulfilling lives…..help us help these children!
